Hello, my name is Demelza. I am an artist based in Melbourne, Australia.

Often playful, my art is inspired by an ongoing curiosity about people and places. I collect candid photographs of friends and pictures clipped from newspapers, along with vintage fabrics and stationary. Drawing on this collection and everyday moments that capture my attention, I make works on paper and fabric using drawing, collage, stitch and appliqué.
